Public Events

While registration for the Symposium workshops has sold-out, we are excited that many other people are interested in traveling to Barcelona for the opportunity to sketch this beautiful city and socialize with fellow sketchers.

For those of you planning to travel to Barcelona, Urban Sketchers is helping organize daily sketchcrawls during the Symposium, with routes, meeting points and guides to accompany you. These events are open to the public and do not require registration.

We'll be posting more specifics as the Symposium approaches.

We are working on ways to make these ad hoc sketching events more visible on the internet, including ways to connect with other sketchers and share your sketches online.

****** EDIT ******

We finally have the details for the 40th Sketchcrawl on Saturday.

We propose 10.00am as a starting time. There's a Urban Sketching Contest that will follow the same route, but their participants will be joining after 11.00h. Also the Symposium participants will join the route later on between 16.00h or 17.00h just make sure to be at 17-00h a Arc the Triomf if you want to appear on the group picture.
From there we'll spread around the area for the last drawings... if you still have some energy left!!!

2.- Passeig del Born
3.- Parc de la Ciutadella
4.- Passeig Lluís Companys
